Remember to Dance..... There Are More Questions Than Answers
There are more questions than answers
Pictures in my mind that will not show
There are more questions than answers
And the more I find out the less I know
Yeah, the more I find out the less I know
I've asked the question time and time again
Why is there so little love among men
But what is life, how do we live
What should we take and how much should we give
Oh, there are more questions than answers
Pictures in my mind that will not show
There are more questions than answers
And the more I find out the less I know
Yeah, the more I find out the less I know
Oh, yeah
Oh, what is life, how do we live
Oh, what should we take and how much should we give
There are more questions than answers
They're just pictures in my mind that will not show
There are more questions than answers
And the more I find out the less I know
Yeah, the more I find out the less I know
There Are More Questions Than Answers Song by Johnny Nash
Are you watching the films we're now calling THE NEWS? This marathon of 'BREAKING NEWS' seem to be playing-out before US in all its cinematic otherworldliness at such a pace -and it makes you wonder -no? So we've moved on from, 'what's going on' to finding out, ' there are more questions than answers' -no? So... I'm guessing that like me, you're being very careful and very picky about what you watch and consume right now -no?
I'm now picking-and-mixing what I ALLOW or watch or whatever -with much more CARE!! -And you know... I now stay away from certain news channels I've watched my whole life as their agendas grow more and more out-of-control!! And I wonder.....have said 'professional' news channels always been so blatantly dangerous; so obviously anti-British, anti-family, anti-Christian, anti-all-that-is-wholesome, anti-living, anti-education, anti-community, anti-morals, anti-goodness and anti-truth? Or I'm I just waking up?
Anyway, are you enjoying the change[ish] of season? Is it springing where you are? Its trying to spring in north London and I'm thankful. --Are you 'spring-cleaning'?? Do you have the windows -open? Do you have your dusters at the ready? Do you have your beeswax polish and Oud antibacterial spray [£1 from the pound shop] ready? Are you getting into the backs of 'those' cupboards. And if you're asking what cupboards -laughter. I'm talking about the ones you open and its all shock and horror [yes, I know this is a first world issue]. Thus, you promise to get to the bottom of them -and then take a break before you've even started and sort-of forget to go back -laughter!!!
And what of the draw?? You know.... the draw that's turned into a catch-all??? Who me you say? Yes you!! Yes you with the draw that houses everything and nothing -laughter. And you know the draw I'm talking about because it houses all sorts of childish knick-knacks and scruffy odds-and-ends; all those miscellaneous items refusing to tidy themselves away -laughter!!
'That' draw in the kitchen harbouring old door keys; random padlocks [most are missing their matching keys] and extra batteries even though you have a proper box/place you store them. Yes.... that draw housing a handful of partially used candles -just in case it kicks-off and the grid goes down. Plus, you're creative soo the idea... is to melt them down and repurpose them [I know -wishful thinking and good intentions -laughter]..
Then there are all those used lighters -waiting for you to dispose of them in the correct manner. And because you're a law abiding citizen; you know the correct procedures and guidelines must be properly followed and adhered to etc. -But gave up when you discovered your local supermarket may be happy to collect your used batteries but not your used lighters etc. -And now said lighters are piling up in the 'catch-all' draw and becoming a nuisance as they take up space!!
Yes.... the draw with a pile of letters you may or may not have dealt with -but must hold on-to; as you have to add certain information on said letter to your journal or diary or whatever [so you can be professional and on top of 'tings' -laughter].
And three multi coloured marbles pretending to be Murano -doing nothing but they are beautiful!! The dust bag nursing the beautiful broken antique side plate waiting to be glued together Japanese stylee. The annoying electrical fuses, in size this and size that -you promised to test and pack away in its proper place!! Or the 'mummy friendly' soft-grip handle screwdrivers you know should be stored away in your 'mummy friendly' Selfridges mini food-hall reusable shopping tote 'tool box'!!!
Paper straws -you plan on buying again because its has the cutest designs [plus they make your heart sing]. Some 'old' post-it notes with info you need to write down in your journal asap. A handful of paper clips [just in case]. New lighters -still in its packaging, just in case it kicks-off. A couple of patterned taper candles from the pound shop to be stored away with the rest of the candles in their proper place!!!
The personal safety alarm device thingy that's waiting for one of those.... ermmm... different sort of batteries. The growing collection of colourful elastic bands -because the idea is to add them to the others [stored away in its proper place] but... And the handful of lovely pens -so lovely you'll not throw them away; because the plan is...... to buy some gel pen refills; ballpoint pen refills and more cartridge ink thingies and reuse them [I know... my intensions are good -laughter].
And what of.... the handful of Waitrose recipe cards that are 'yet' to be filed away [with the rest] because you'll not rest until you've made these 'mouth-watering' meals [yes our intentions are always good -laughter]. And the bits-n-bobs 'someone' brought back from uni and are now 'also' gathering dust in said catch-all drawer?
A couple of huge beautiful traditional Japanese [Sosaku?] brushes -now being used for all sorts!! Some incense. A couple of small metal containers -just in case!! A couple of small Muji bottle containers -just in case!! A few jam jar lids -just in case!! A broken metal poura/spout lid thingy for a posh oil bottle that must be replaced [one day]. A Fauchon chocolate packaging thingy -kept so I can remember to buy it again when my money is set up that way [laughter].
And the LED lightbulbs that belong in another draw -but are now piling up because you don't know if they are working or not -cause you haven't had A MINUTE TO SPARE to test them!! And so forth and so forth!! -And I'm guessing we'll just have to knuckle down and tackle said draw -no? And I'm under no illusion that this is a first world issue -especially at such a time as this. Yes, many would love to have this issue -I get it!! But know also....that life is beautiful and God is good Amen. And you've also got to laugh, its good for you Amen!!!
But what is life, how do we live
What should we take and how much should we give
Oh, there are more questions than answers
Pictures in my mind that will not show
There are more questions than answers
And the more I find out the less I know
Yeah, the more I find out the less I know
Anyway how are you? I pray I find you well and thriving... I pray also that you're looking after yourself and storing a little away -as and when you can with regards to food[especially canned food], water, medical supplies, candles and toiletries etc. And if you can ---gather a couple of heavy blankets, jumpers and socks that can keep you warm if it kicks off and the grid goes down [just in case].
And what say you -about putting together what the Americans call, 'a bug out bag'; basically an emergency survival bag with everything you'll need if you had to evacuate at a minutes notice. This is not to cause you any fear but for US to be prepared, so WE don't have to panic -if its ever needed!!
I know we're all praying for God's protection, provisions, justice and mercy for ALL [the WHOLE WORLD] -at such a time as this.... but we also remember the beauty of GODS GOODNESS Amen!! And PRAISE HIM FOR HIS KINDNESS AND GOODNESS In Christ Lord Jesus' Mighty Name Amen!!! Because regardless of what we're passing through, whatever is going on around the world; GOD IS GOOD AND HIS LOVE AND FAITHFULNESS ENDURES FOREVER!! x
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. Psalm 100:5
"For the LORD is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations." Psalm 100:5 emphasizes God’s enduring goodness, steadfast love, and faithfulness. This verse concludes Psalm 100, a psalm of thanksgiving and praise, reminding believers that God’s character is unchanging and reliable across all generations. The verse highlights three key aspects of God’s nature: His goodness, which assures His care and provision; His love (steadfast or unfailing love), which is eternal and unceasing; and His faithfulness, which extends to every generation, ensuring that God keeps His promises and remains trustworthy.
Psalm 100 calls all the earth to shout for joy, serve the Lord with gladness, and enter His presence with thanksgiving and praise. Verse 5 serves as the theological foundation for this call, affirming that worship and gratitude are appropriate responses to God’s eternal attributes. This verse is often cited in devotionals, worship songs, and teachings to encourage trust in God’s enduring love and reliability. It reassures believers that God’s mercy and faithfulness are not temporary but perpetual and generational, offering comfort and hope in all circumstances." Copilot
